It’s easy to suggest a quick solution, when you don’t know much about the problem or you don’t understand the underlying cause or just how deep the wound is.

Life is too damn short to be following these rules.

Just put one foot in front of the other, just get through the day.

You don’t even know anything’s changed. You think you’re still you and your life is still your life… but you wake up one day and you look around and you don’t reognize anything. Not anything at all.

Peace isn’t a permanent state. It exists in moments. Fleeting. Gone before we knew it was there.

That was a memory. That’s what it’s like sometimes. It doesn’t always come back all at once, it can happen in bits and pieces.
